Web design portfolio · Central Kentucky Live sites. Real businesses. Go look.

I'd rather show you working websites than a folder of pretty pictures. Three Central Kentucky businesses below: the problem, the fix and the result, with links so you can judge the work yourself.

Three case studies from my web design portfolio

The problem

A multi-location propane company, three storefronts serving 26 counties, needing one clear place online for every customer to land, without spending ad money on clicks that never turn into a call.

The fix

I rebuilt the website's pages on the platform the company already runs, structured the Google search campaigns by season (residential propane, fireplaces, fire pits, grills), each with its own landing page and budget, and keep the Facebook page posting.

The result

Every campaign answers to phone calls and lead forms, not clicks. And it's where I learned the trade: dispatch, billing cycles, route density, the 7am complaint call. That's why I understand service businesses from the inside.

The problem

Jose and Jackie needed a site as solid as their roofs: one that could catch the 9pm storm call and turn it into a phone call, not a bounce.

The fix

Five pages built by hand: real before-and-after photos of their own roofs, a tappable number on every screen, and an emergency path that doesn't make a panicking homeowner go hunting. I host it free on my Cloudflare, and the domain is in their name.

The result

Live since July 2026, and fast on a phone.

The problem

A three-generation Kentucky woodshop selling beautiful cedar work through a six-listing Etsy page. Harley needed his own site, and a way to keep adding products without ever worrying about breaking it.

The fix

21 pages, every product photographed by Harley himself, a build-your-own configurator for his custom pieces, and an order path that ends at his phone. It's on the care plan: I handle the hosting, security and tested daily backups, and build the new product pages as the shop grows.

The result

His fall line arrived Tuesday morning and was live that night. His five-star review is on my Google listing, and the speed scores are there for anyone to re-run.

Different businesses. Same four laws.

I put these four on Google publicly, so every site I build gets checked against them before it goes live. Here's what that looks like on a real site.

Fast on a phone

Most people find you on a cell signal in a parking lot, not on office wifi. If it takes more than about three seconds, they're gone before they ever saw your name.

The answer above the fold

What you do, what town you're in, how to reach you — visible without scrolling. Everything else on the page is a bonus.

One tap to call

Your phone number should be a button, not a decoration. If somebody has to copy it down by hand, some of them just won't.

Real photos

Your actual work, your actual building, your actual truck. People here can spot a stock photo in a second, and it quietly costs you the whole page.
