Web design and marketing for Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.

I'm Jeff Becraft. I build websites and run local marketing for small businesses in Mt. Sterling and across Central Kentucky — from Winchester, about as local as it gets. You get me on the phone, published prices, and plain English.

Mt. Sterling punches above its size, partly because of Court Days and partly because it's the last real town before the Gorge. That means a chunk of the money coming through here is from people who don't live here — and those people find you exactly one way.

If somebody's driving out for the weekend and decides they want lunch, or a cabin, or a tire fixed, they search on their phone from the road. Your hours being right and your listing being claimed is worth more in this town than in most. A wrong closing time on Google costs you a carload of people who'll never know they almost stopped.

I can come to you. I'll drive out, sit down at your counter and go through it in person — because knowing the person building your website is half of why you'd hire somebody local instead of an outfit three states away.

You can also just go look at my work: Full Construction Roofing is a site I built, live right now, and I handle the marketing and the website for Clark Propane Plus, where I'm assistant manager.

Straight answers

Questions I actually get asked.

Does tourist traffic really matter for my business?

It depends what you do, but more than most owners think. Anybody heading toward Red River Gorge passes through, and they make decisions from the road on a phone. If your hours are wrong or your listing has no photos, you're invisible to all of them.

What does a website cost for a Mt. Sterling business?

My prices are published on the pricing page — no quote games. Website builds are flat-priced by scope and monthly plans are month-to-month. You'll know the number before anything starts.

I get most of my business from word of mouth. Why bother?

Word of mouth is the best marketing there is — a website and a Google listing just make sure it converts. When somebody recommends you, the next thing that person does is look you up. What they find either confirms the recommendation or quietly kills it.

The Blueprint Session

Let's spend thirty minutes on your Mt. Sterling business.

No pitch, no charge. I'll look at your site, your Google listing and what your competitors are doing, and tell you plainly what I'd fix first. If you can do it yourself, I'll show you how — and if you don't need me yet, I'll say so.
